Hello, my name is Austyn Marie Bufford. I am 16 years old and have been taking art classes for 6 years. I was born in Tallahassee, Florida, moved to DC when I was 2, then to Virginia when I was 4. At 7 years old I moved to Connecticut and then when I was 9 I moved to Austin, Texas. I have always enjoyed the arts and even took acting classes when I was 8. I plan on pursuing a career in Civil engineering and Architecture.

My goal in art it always to make things with intention, I always want to make it clear that I've tried my best. I believe that anyone can make something beautiful if they try. During my time in this class, I want to experience multiple mediums and learn what my art style is. I enjoy realistic paintings but I'm not the best when it comes to addressing details. Throughout this class, I will try to work on details and expand my creativity.
